This has limited him to just 48 games over the past two seasons, with only 11 games played in 2025. Bryant's struggles have been extensive, including plantar fasciitis, a bone bruise, heel issues, a broken finger, a back strain, a lower rib contusion, and persistent back problems. In May 2025, he underwent an ablation procedure to interrupt pain signals, but he hasn't played since. With $78 million still owed over three seasons, the Rockies face a challenging decision regarding Bryant's future. Despite his injuries, Bryant is remembered for his pivotal role in the Chicago Cubs' historic 2016 World Series victory, ending a 108-year drought. Over 11 seasons, he has accumulated 184 home runs and 548 RBIs.
