Gold Market Analysis: 50-Day MA as a Key Indicator After a 65% Rally
The gold market has seen a significant surge, with prices climbing 65% this year, marking the best performance in over four decades before the year-end reset. However, the market's trajectory is not without challenges. The 50-day moving average (MA) has been a critical indicator, guiding the market higher since mid-August. Breaking this MA could shift the market's narrative from extremely bullish to just bullish.
The market has also dropped below a short-term 50% level, creating resistance at $4350.27 to $4381.44. The daily chart suggests traders are targeting the value area between the intermediate 50% level at $4211.60 and the 50-day MA at $4174.88.
